I didn’t when I was a kid to “save water” and it pissed off my family, no pun intended

My grandparents who would be in their 130's or so, it was flush everytime. Yet, when visiting on weekends, Saturday night bath time, it was 3-4 inches in the tub with women bathing first. After all women bathed water was replaced for kids followed by men. Thus tub refilled on twice.

The reasoning was that they drilling another well was expensive if their aquifer went dry.

This was in the 1960's when most people washed their hair once a week. Women went to the beauty parlor to get their hair washed while men and boys used hair oil daily to comb their hair.

I piss in the backyard like a real man.

I tried to make not flushing after every pee a thing early on, wife shut it down quick.

Not flushing makes the house stink and stains the toilet. Flush the damn thing
