I just feel better than people that work at Eckards or K&B.

I'm poor but I still feel like I'm better than most people because of dashing good looks.

I am neither rich nor good looking but I have an inner peace that comes with drinking to excess with some regularity. Also my wife is very smart (well, kind of smart) and works hard so between us we can do pretty much what we want.

"Feel better than others..."

Physically? - maybe. Money provides resources for good health.

Emotionally? - maybe. Money removes many factors that cause stress and anxiety is some people's lives.

As a Person/Human Being? - if this is what you are asking you need to be horse whipped.

I feel kinda sorry for pharmacists, TBH.

It looks like all they do is stand in a crowded room with a bunch of other people while they stare at a computer. Plus, it is always noisy AF.

He said the best are the truly wealthy (not doctor/lawyer wealthy) who don't feel the need to exaggerate their worth.

You made this up, Roger. Or your friend did. How would a resort manager know how much guests make? That's ridiculous.

He's right though. I used to fly charter and corporate jets. The extremely wealthy, the ones who actually paid for the plane, were normally the most down to earth passengers I had. Always kind and pleasant people to be around with a few notable exceptions. The people who worked for them or their friends, those riding the coat tails who didn't pay for anything, were normally the rude and aloof ones.

I don't really concern myself with where others are financially. I know where I am today versus where I was 10 years ago, and I feel a lot better.

you have to give back. Not necessarily in money. Wife and I both have very lucrative, successful careers. But we both volunteer as BBBS/Oasis and work closely with Friends Life (Amy Grant/Vince Gill charity). Watching my little go from a kid who couldn't look me in the eye to graduating basic training in October is more satisfying than any financial transaction/blessing I've ever had. Even got his mom a job at a lending institution I do a good deal of business with and her economic situation is completely different.

It's ok to have a perk or two due to your financial success. We drive Toyota's, we shop outlets. Our only real luxury is we live/belong to a country club, and if we eat out, it's typically there since it's easy and cheap to be honest. Plus it supports the community.

I'm not better because I have money, I have money because I'm better.

It's lonely at the top. Younwork so hard to climb past everyone to the top of that mountain then when you get there and look around you realize you are alone. Smh

My wife gives me hell because I think I am doing better than all the kids I graduated with who are still living in our hometown doing grunt work, never going anywhere. Out of the ~200 plus I went to high school with, I think maybe 25 of us went to a 4 year school, >10 of us graduated.

It isn't a "I make more money than you" it's more of the "I didn't settle and wanted to grow".

That MTV post doesn't really answer the question of his previous names. Spillit.

If you're truly a pharmacist, you don't really make that much money, at least not enough to feel better than other people over. You make it sound like you've got "frick you" money. Average pharmacist makes $120k/yr, which is nice, but definitely not "frick you" money.

It mentions 3 of them and I'll throw in a Dak4he15sman.

my favorite one he did which will be coming pretty soon on the movie board. "I'm not gay but who are your top 5 best looking actors today."

Exactly. That really isn't even enough money to live in a nice house, drive a nice car AND save a lot of money.

I feel better than others because I am better than others.

Generally speaking, of course.
