No. But I feel good that I make enough to live very comfortably while being off from work this and every summer.

What was it like driving to work every day in July?

I've come to appreciate his skills. Nobody comes close to his level. It's taken him a few years, and name changes, but I think he's finally got it down.

You have multiple criminal offenses. Aren't you worried about that?

Nothing subtle about his trolling. I don't know how people take that clown seriously.

I should've known by how blatantly douche his post was. As a newb, I need to learn that most overt assholes are just playing people that make more money than he does. LOL

I think they make $80-150k depending on where they work. They could make more or less if they own the place

It always seemed like a cake profession. Those dudes are always rolling in 7 series beemers and Armani suits with Gucci shades.

I don't want to live in a world where making 100-150 k a year is a lot of money. I make close to but not quite $100,000 and I certainly don't feel I'm anywhere near "well off".

I hear you. I make over 6 figures in Seattle and that gets you very little because of the cost of living adjustment.

I could hardly imagine a household that has a stay at home wife scenario. One income would never suffice.

Money doesnt "make you happy", but it sure as hell takes the stress out of some things, and having the option to spend more isnt too shabby.

Ultimately, I dont care if someone makes more money than me (I work in the oilfield and consistently have high school grads making a lot more than me as an engineer). But I do have a strange "competitive" desire to be as successful as anyone. Hate hearing people my age doing better than me. Not always financially. Just career wise. I know its petty, but ive always been that way. If a guy I started with is now a manager, it drives me to want to be a manager, even if he is in a different line known to make less money.

Go date the cash register girl from dip n dots. She'll make plenty of use of your money and then when you're broke again you can post here with the other poors.

Ehh, its all relative. You have to make a lot of money, I mean A LOT, for it to really feel like you have a lot. But, making over 100k is literally double what most make per household in LA. Its definitely a lot.

It certainly doesnt feel that way. I feel a but the same as when I made half what I do now, but every once in a while, I realize I buy what I want without thinking much about it now. Most people dont get that luxury. Even I didnt a few years ago.

The overwhelming likelihood is that they will be worthless/douchebags and you have done them NO favors by doing this.

Almost all of the posts in this thread that have any 'depth' to them have said just the opposite. This is why your kids will spend their trusts and be back with you.
