With the right group it can be awesome, especially on a big win. Alabama 2019 comes to mind as my favorite watch party of all time.

ON THE OTHER HAND.......on a big loss sucks. You see the side of people that actually gaf about LSU football and those who don't. Alabama 2012-2018 comes to mind lol.

I just like to hang out with my friends and do hoodrat shite. Drinking beer, cooking, and enjoying the company, the game is just the excuse

2019 Texas, Alabama, Florida and National Championship games were all watch parties with my friends in Austin either at their house or LSU bar, those were great memories.

For me, I really like to pay close attention to the games so watch parties can suck if others aren't paying attention. However, I don't typically get as irrationally angry when watching with others, so probably better for my general health to watch at watch parties.

No. If it is an important game, I like to watch it by myself with no distractions and with no one in the room to bother me or care whether I curse or not.

2023 and 2024 vs Bama were both blowout losses. We all kind of tuned out the game around halftime and got drunk while it was playing in the background where it couldn't hurt us.

Watch parties are good in that respect. When it's a close game, I'd rather watch alone.

I've enjoyed alumni watch parties in various cities. Always fun to cheer on with fellow Tigers. Rowdiest one I've been to was Boston at some bar next to Fenway.

No. They're usually during hunting season and I'd rather be at my camp.

Same. I camp alone most of the time and got a tv last year that I set up on a table by the campfire.

It's nice to just sit in the woods just me and my dog drinking beer while she chews on deer legs watching football.

Sure - I enjoy them more than going to games. Typically, you've got good food and drinks, a fun, lively atmosphere, I enjoy them more than the hassle of going to the games now.

That said, I'm older now with kids in college, and I'm not "locked in" and watching every play like its do or die. Basically, I'm not a psycho that let's a loss ruin my weekend.

Me and you have a different definition of party.

Well if she goes and you don’t, someone’s gonna end up fricking your wife in the bathroom.

When I watch an LSU game on TV, I'm locked in, I don't want to talk about gall bladder operations, new grandkids, anniversaries, just football. By definition the parties are men and women, and many of the women are not there to watch a football game. It's not too bad when the guys are in the den with the game and the women in the kitchen drinking wine, but I really like watching by myself with maybe another equally focused guy.

Be a real fan. Watch parties to get drunk with real fans and friends.

Sunday: rewatch the game in the morning and watch nfl later in the night.

No. I tend to yell and curse at the TV, which doesn’t look good in front of a bunch of people.

Alone in a dark room is the only way to truly watch college football in my opinion. I am probably a sicko but that is how I feel.

I definitely like them because I typically do them with a crew that parties when it’s time to party and watches the game when it’s time to watch the game. Like we start up the parties typically three hours before the game so we can drink, cook, play lawn games, and what have you, then when the game starts everybody knows it’s time to lock in

Yeah I love watching football so I don’t have to watch it with other people. If it’s a few people I don’t mind but hate when I can’t listen to the announcers or have to make small talk with people who don’t care about the football.

I’m the opposite. I love watching with a crowd and can’t really stand being alone.
