I drive a 10 year old truck...2006 Silverado 2500 HD with the Duramax and Allison. Getting 20 mpg hwy at 75-80. 16 city.

We have a Tahoe where you can watch the needle dropping while you drive. Gets around 14-15.
I drive a VW TDI for work commute and average about 43 mpg. Too bad they are going to buy them back.
In my TDI, it seems that way sometimes. Mild stop and go at 45 mph is pretty much the same as driving 75. Doesn't make sense, but that's been the results lately.

My dad had a Ford Excursion , fricking awesome SUV!!!! 10mpg! The reason he bought it ? Greenpeace listed it as the worst SUV that year .

My 80 on 35s gets around 11mpg. And my 100 on 33s gets around 15. I would like to do diesel conversions on both of them lol.

My 2016 Silverado 2500 diesel does ok but my 05 Z71 on 35" mud tires is bad. So bad I don't even want to know the actual number.

My 12 year old Tahoe gets 20 hwy. newer trucks get close to 28 hwy.
What's odd is my Rodeo gets worse mpg and it's got 2 less cylinders.
The worst is my 68 mustang. Gets about 10 if I'm lucky and it has to be ethanol free 93+ octane. I barely drive it though.

Yes, one of our vehicles def. qualifies. '99 f-250 V-10. It gets about 12/mph when pulling a loaded 2-horse trailer. It also gets that when hauling a load of dirt. It also gets that empty, downhill with a tail wind.

My F150 gets around 18, I'm OK with that. My Highlander gets about 20, I'm OK with that too.

I do occasionally. My Jeep Cherokee's 4.0 loves fuel. But I have a 45MPG car to make up for it.

I have driven or owned an 01, 03, 04, and an 05. Both 4.8 and 5.3 and 2wd and 4wd. Going 85 on the interstate, they get around 12-ish

Yes my wife's 2002 Sequoia drinks gas. Just put 2 coil packs and replaced all the spark plugs on it. I'm going to run this thing into the ground
My 2003 Xterra (save me the gay jokes) is an inline and 6 eats fuel like a V8. I was fortunate to have my timing belt go out while I was idling at a red light. It only cost me $500 to fix it. The repair guy showed me the belt and it was truly amazing how lucky I was. I have a slight manifold leak that goes right down to my starter. I've replaced the starter 6 times (5 times on my own)
I will replace a starter every 1-2 years instead of getting a new car note
