Driving faster than you is not stupidity. You hogging the left lane making me swerve through traffic is stupidity. In fact, I usually speed up going through cities because left lane drivers make me cut in and out of traffic

It's absolutely not a lie. I've made the trip from Shreveport to Huntsville about 50 times and the 5.3 gets 19.6 MPG. It gets 13 in the city.

That's from a few years ago. It needs a new paint job now and I ripped out the window tint.

Congrats on having the only Tahoe in the history of Tahoes to get that good of highway mileage. I don't even think the new ones get that good of fuel mileage. Certainly not the ones I have owned and driven.

Btw, do you happen to have bigger tires and use the trip computer for your calculations?

Had a 15 Tahoe for a work vehicle. It was getting 20+ on the highway. I guess that cylinder deactivation works well.

Actually, the Ram 1500s I used to sell got about 22-23 hwy with the Hemi. And that was 2 years ago.

We don't have a trip computer. I just reset the tripometer and then do the math when I fill up. It's got standard sized tires. We've replaced the fuel pump, brakes and water pump. I bought it at around 60k and it's got 188k now

Not tying to brag, just that I've been very happy with my Tahoe.

I have a 2012 crew with leather. I love the leather in it. The seats aren't form fitting like most but they are comfortable. The back seat is money.
