Definitely wouldnt do it for male teachers, just sounds a bit pansy for a man to call a younger man Mr.
It’s a matter of respect. This modern society is much less formal than past generations. I would say the generations of men from the beginning and middle of the 20th century were much more manly than ours.

THIS!!!
In public/professional settings, this shows respect and acknowledges the professional stature of the teacher.

I call them by their given title. If some freak wanted me to use some newly minted, ginned up pronoun I wouldn't address them by anything. I'd just start talking to them.

I roll with "Ms" I think most of the time.

His mindset is that of a liberal man. It’s infiltrated everything.

Agreed. Kids don't even address adults with "Miss" or "Mister" anymore. It is just "hey Bill, can I have a coke from the fridge?"
In the 80s we would have caught a slap upside the head for such behavior.

It’s a sign of societal decay.

Yes, and I pronounce it "Miss-res" because it pisses off the wife.

Have to reinforce what your kids call them. My son JaDarius calls her "um miss lady" so I roll with that.

Solid eye contact.
Turn and walk away.
Unless I need my photos printed at walmart... then I say please and thank you.

I cant bring myself to put a Mrs. in front of a name especially when they're younger than me.

Be the example you want them to be.

My 9 y.o. Has a music teacher at school. He/she wants everyone to use her first name only. No Miss/Mr. I told my son that this is not the proper etiquette to use in the real world. No wonder these kids are getting so screwed up at an early age.

I do to my children, but I've never been in a situation where I had to call a teacher by their name, regardless if I put Mrs, Mr, or Miss in front of it.
