None of these protests would happen if police only performed lawful actions, too.

The problems with your bullshite is:
Police get away with literal murder in the courts.
It isn't unreasonable to expect reasonable, legal conduct by police in the streets. That should be the default. But the police know that people like you will defend their barbaric and illegal behavior so they have had no incentive to stop.

Agree to a point. Cupcakes will always find something to piss and moan about
Also, what the guard did in that video is simply wrong

That's not always true. Courts have ruled that some rights need to be asserted to be recognized.
Of course in some people's eyes might makes right, and if you ignore any police order they're justified any punishment incoming. It's that mentality that causes some people see a lot of similarities between thugs and those who wear badges as both are acting outside the law.

If there is a standing curfew order, does that mean indoors or just can’t leave your own property?
Real question, idk the answer

All I’m saying is if you are polite and follow police commands, you will not get “literally murdered”.
Show me an example of someone who was murdered by police that was following commands and not resisting during their entire encounter.
Go ahead and call me a boot licker if you want, but I can assure you my face will never end up on a t-shirt.

I imagine Breonna Taylor would fall in this category .

No, but you do have the right to order them off it

The issue is police want to punish people for disobeying. Not breaking the law but disobeying.
Police actions against all races are the issue. Just when it happens to be perceived as racist. We really do need policecreform in this country. Something to hold bad ones accountable and free up the good ones to step up and do something when they see abusive cops. I can only guess the goid ones are scared to lose their jobs if they step up now.
They can easily arrest people breaking the law but prefer to punish them.

If you’re on your own god damn property, that is irrelevant.

That wasn't the Guard. That was MPD.

Those people did nothing wrong..
Your porch is part of your house, those assholes need to be investigated. That‘s like Nazi SS shite...

Link to the curfew order or are these police arbitrarily making rules?
Here's the PDF. I have a hard time believing folks sitting on their stoop were breaking the curfew order based on the order itself.

That absolutely seems to be the case here. I haven’t read this particular curfew order but most curfews are for streets and public places. The spirit of the order is for people to be clear of public spaces. I’ve never heard of a curfew ordering all citizens to be inside their home.
Would police have the right to come into our backyard if they heard us swimming? Is a fenced in backyard different from a front porch that is part of the domicile building?

It cannot be legal to assault someone for simply standing on their own front porch.
When they identify the one who gave the order and the ones who lit 'em up, are they going to be fired, and have their wives shot with paintballs and peppered?
