What about Breonna Taylor?

She was sleep in her bed. Plain clothes cops bust in her house, looking for a man who didnt live there and who was already in custody at the time of the execution of this raid.

Her boyfriend, with his legally registered gun attempts to protect his home from these intruders. His reward, arrested, charged with attempted murder, and cuffed while his girlfriend dies.

He rots in jail until a black judge finally frees him weeks later. He has these charges hanging over his head as he attempts to rebuild his life, meanwhile, the 3 cops who fricked this up from left to right, the judge who signed off on this, and the prosecutor who is pushing these egregious charges are all still walking around jerking each other off.

Explain to me what Taylor and her boyfriend did wrong in this issue.

No knock warrants need to be declared unconstitutional. Breonna Taylor wasn’t the first innocent citizen to be murdered in her own home during the wrongful execution of a no knock warrant and almost certainly won’t be the last.

Breonna Taylor didn't point a gun at anyone.

Sorry, you live in that kind of society as well.

If true, it’s only because of people like you that happily eat 3 square meals of boot per day that enable things like OP to happen without consequence.

Be a tough guy and point a gun at police or stand behind someone shooting at police. I’m sure your friends and family would miss you.

The guy I was trying to think of is Daniel Shaver. If you watch that video, then see that the LEO was found not guilty, then awarded a $31k, Tax-free pension, you will never want to leave your home again.

It was a clear murder of a guy being compliant.

So standing on you own porch doing nothing to pointing a gun at a cop...

Gotcha....
.
I'm still waiting for your proof about cops ordering you back inside from your own damn porch...

I'm usually first to back the police, but that was some straight up bull shite... I'd send that video straight to the media.. Then a lawyer... Those people were assaulted on their own property, doing absolutely nothing wrong.

Cops can tell you to go in your home while they are conducting police business on your street.

You can choose to ignore it. The person in the video chose to ignore it and got shot with less lethal.

Check my first post in this thread. It was one of the first replies. I said idk if it’s right or wrong, but I wouldn’t want to find out. Is it that hard to go inside while riot police are sweeping your street?

Yes, If you're on the fricking street....

Not while you're on your porch... Your porch is an extension of your house.... and those guys saying 'light 'em up" and shooting them need to be investigated...

Link? The curfew order makes no mention of authority of police that are not on public property.

Even crazier... they can even order you out of your home. Don't believe me, have a neighbor hole up in their house and refuse to surrender.

Yeah it sucks, however my stance has not changed since my first post in this thread:

“Not sure, however, if I saw a line of riot officers clearing a street with pepper ball guns, I’d probably watch out of a window from inside my house.”

Why test riot police? I’m not going to sit outside and argue case law with officers while they are clearing streets with less lethal rounds. You can be technically right and I will be inside not getting tear gassed.

Clearing streets or clearing porches....

You don't seem to get it since you keep splitting hairs...

I wouldn't expect to shot at on my own fricking porch, and besides, who where they clearing? That street looked pretty empty...

Damn you got me

I try to minimize my interactions with police. So if they were rolling down my street, I’d go inside.

If I got pulled over, I’d comply so they will give me my ticket and leave without incident.

Guess that makes me a bootlicker.

Sounds like you don’t seem to get my stance.

If they were in their house, they would not have been shot at.

Be technically correct, get shot at. Or go inside like they are saying and enjoy the rest of your night.
