The most plausible theory is that the pyramids were in fact actually power plants and that the ancient Egyptians had wireless electricity.
I watched a video on this and and it started to really wind up my brain

20,000 years ago human civilizations cross the land bridge from Asia to North America, they did it while traveling with domesticated dogs.

there is clear evidence of intelligent advanced civilizations 10K years ago.

It wasn't that long ago, the accepted belief in academia was that human civilization first started in Mesopotamia. Now they are uncovering much, much older sites. Personally, I think human civilization is much older. Some of the South American sites are unexplainable and aging them is just guessing.

it really is nuts!
our most common non-human ancestors still are located in Africa, so thats where I'm betting the first homo sapiens appeared.
but as far as civilization, who knows

Even with all the evidence we discount how advanced the Egyptians, Mayans and others were.
If transported to today they’d probably think we were savages due to factory farming, pollution, etc.

brah, we’ve already quadrupled that. and the number gets bigger and bigger every few years. we’re throwing darts in the dark. it’s just as likely what you recognize as modern “humans” have been traipsing around for 5 million years minimum

It depends on your definition of human.
The oldest homo sapien fossils are around 300k years old. We have some very close relatives that are older

There are two 'ruins' in Pakistan that are brilliant in their public water and sanitation infrastructure. Their stonemasonry is also really fine. There may be more but Pakistan isn't particularly prone to scientific stuff nowadays.
The two cities were Harappa and Mahinjo Daro and one was quarried for building stone until there was nothing left.

Yeah, it is sad what has been destroyed and lost to history. Honestly we are lucky that we have what we have tho.
I am glad this survived somehow

Yes. Nancy Pelosi and Biden were Jr. staffers back then.

No because the human population was very small (and sparse) until the last couple thousand years. And even then, it didn't compare to the explosion we saw in the 20th century.
There simply weren't enough people for there to be major civilizations 20,000 years ago.

I've yet to see any definition of the word "civilization" that includes anything related with large population centers.

Hate to say this, but if you don't have a start date, you're only guessing at the age. The scientist that declared the The Universe, 13.7 Billions years old, had to reach way up his arse, to come up with that GUESS.

I suspect that it’s far more complicated than a simple hard count backwards to the first “civilization”.
It seems likely that mass cataclysms have occurred repeatedly and that what would undoubtedly be considered early civilizations were wiped out leaving nomad survivors who had to rebuild again.
In other words it’s not an unbroken and consistent technological evolution from Babylon and ancient Egypt to today.
Think about the story of the library of ancient Alexandria and the ensuing loss of knowledge when it burned. Consider pre internet and low public literacy rates what that likely did to human technological capability at the time.
I suspect that our evolution as a species has been a staccato movement generally upwards with the peaks being defined by troughs that resulted from things like meteors, volcanoes and the rapid climate change that followed those events which reset the scoreboard every so often.
I also believe there is evidence of this which isn’t shared with us because it would bring into question our current framing of the world and our understanding of who we are.

Considering Earth could be about 4.5 billion years old according to some guesses, that leaves a lot of time for stuff to come and go.
If by "ancient" you mean pre-Flood, c.4500-6000 years ago, YES. (And those ancient civilizations of man were busy and capable as we can see by plenty of evidence that's survived!)
(The age of our world is about 6,000 for believers in Genesis' Creation account).
Antediluvian (pre-Flood) realm was a world beyond our imagination and comprehension. Archeologists and "Historians" have duped u into their "4.5 billion year old fantasy, invented to justify "Evolution" and Realm/Creation explanations they'd rather not concede because it would prove the Genesis account.
Anyway, here is a Must-Read book worthy of your consideration (explains in great detail side-by-side theories of Genesis / 6,000 year old Earth-Creationism vs 4.5 billion year old Earth-Evolutionism):
The Genesis Flood: The Biblical Record and Its Scientific Implications, 50th Anniversary Edition
******************************************
ALL Antediluvian DNA was the literal "parent" DNA -- the original from Adam and Eve. It was far superior to modern man, "clean", and devoid of many of the defects that God's post-Flood "re-calibration" of man and life in general (typical pre-Flood Life Span was 750-950 according to the Bible.)
ALL animal and plant life was ginormous.
Man was also much larger in statue and stronger AND far more intelligent.
There is also the question of the Human-Fallen Angel "hybrids" and their Giant physical attributes and superior mental abilities. (how much did they contribute to the terraforming of the earth?
Many of the grand, spectacular complex structures & infrastructure actually extended for miles (see on satellite maps) survived the Great Flood of Noah.
Many buildings attributed by archaeologists as "natural formations" are actually washed out / melted buildings.
(below: NOT "natural" formations but huge buildings awash by a Great Flood)

Wish I could spend hours on the subject and its several off-shoots / theories. They are mind-blowing.
