Considering Earth could be about 4.5 billion years old according to some guesses, that leaves a lot of time for stuff to come and go.

ETA: When I say ancient I mean like 20,000+ years ago. Most historians say that humans in our current form started to exist about 100,000-150,000 years ago and we started to form societies about 10,000-15,000 years ago, with the real advances coming in the last 4,000 years.

I'm thinking about full societies just like ours that could have existed, been swallowed up and papered over by the movement of the planet.

Do you not believe in them? Plenty of bones that have been dug up that say they did exist.

not really a matter of belief...... there is clear evidence of intelligent advanced civilizations 10K years ago.

I do. I also think they could be the source of UFOs.

Believe in what? Whether they existed? Of course they did. There are ruins dating back to 12,000 bc

Yes, i actually have a theory I've been working on regarding the Pyramids and the Egyptians possibly being even more developed than we are.

Humans have been on Earth for about 300,000 years, so that is the time frame to which you are limited. It depends upon your definition of "ancient" as to whether there were ancient civilizations. Is the Roman Empire "ancient" enough? What about ancient Egypt. Those were certainly civilizations. They existed. "Belief" can be a different issue altogether.

There are some crazy facts about the pyramids' construction that suggest a lot more going on than just tombs

But what if something happened 200 million years ago? What if there were different humans or lizard people?

Of course. But whether you do or not, it's astounding to me that Big Archaeology seems to think we've basically got it all figured out and know all their is to know.

Give me people like Graham Hancock discovering and questioning shite all day long over people who think we've solved ancient human history.
