Do upvotes/downvotes ever give you a glimpse into the stupidity of this board?

I usually understand the reason for voting patters, but every once in a while, it is clear that votes have gone one way due to the Louisiana education system and a lack of reading comprehension on the board.

I think posters who pay attention to the voting on the board gives a window into their insecurities.

The subjects of threads can give me a glimpse into the stupidity of the originator, but votes on threads not so much.
Most threads contain multiple bits of information and the votes could be on different elements of the posts, some individuals also get up or down votes no matter what they post. So votes are much harder to interpret than the original thought.
