I only order spicy on a Friday or Saturday so I have time to recover.

Pro Tip...when you order ask them when was the last time they changed the oil.....it's worth the wait to get a fresh batch in the new oil.....thats why it takes so long sometimes.....they have the change the oil and let it heat up every so often...plus they cant just let fried chicken sit under heat lamps all day...

I was probably one of the last humans on earth to get the spicy chicken sandwich. Got it one day at lunch.

With a medium red beans.

That was almost 2 years ago.

I still have diarrhea and some weird noises shooting through my intestines. I think I shite out an eraser I ate in 2nd grade.

Happened to me yesterday. I ordered a 3 piece, get home and it’s 2 pieces

The opposite happens to me when I order the tenders.

I order a 5 piece (I know I am a fatty) and I usually get it stuffed to the gills will tenders.

So I actually worked at Popeyes after Katrina.

you need more fryers to do more chicken. frying chicken until it’s done does take about 15 minutes. if you cook too much to hold, the fat fricks will bitch that they want it fresh and not sitting under the light so you got to cook more that holds up the line. Some families def order enough to wipe out whole batches and there’s nothing you can do about that.

And since people order both, you have to cook both spicy and mild.

You aren’t doing this in the middle of lunch or dinner. You do filter though.

I got Popeyes in the Istanbul airport the other day. You want to talk heaven??

They had the normal menu, but in addition, they had 2 person buckets on the menu. One of them was a glorious 2 chicken sandys, 8 nuggets, 2 wings, and two fries. It was like 15 bucks.

Exactly...thats why you have more than just one fryer...

It’s the cayenne in the spice. Cayenne works as a laxative. Now that I’m older, anything with more than a tiny amount of cayenne sets me off.

I really like Popeyes, but have been there once in five years. That one time was a nightmare in the drive thru. I don't want to experience that again. I always see a long line that barely moves.
