don't recall them ever being as bad as the one i'll occasionally go to. It's not even the service. It's just they never have any chicken

Trust me, at KFC, that's part of their great service. They are worse than Burger King.

Coincidence, I ate Popeyes tonight. $37 freaking dollars for 3 people

What did you get? In New Orleans you can get a 4-piece with a side, a biscuit and a drink for under $10 (which is a great value). And basically you usually have leftovers because it's a lot to try and eat at once.

I was probably one of the last humans on earth to get the spicy chicken sandwich.
You're not. I still haven’t tried it. Every time I go I consider it, but always get my go to 3 or 4 piece spicy with Cajun rice.

Went tonight, ordered a 3 piece. A breast, and two thighs spicy. Get home, a breast, wing, and leg mild. You think after the 254th time of them getting my order wrong I’d check before I left.

Popeye's open at 10am. I like to go around 10:45 to beat the lunch crowd. Grease is fresh and the fried chicken is glorious.

Get the 2 can dine on the App for 8.99. 5pc, 2 sides, 2 biscuits. Absolutely most bang for the buck meal in town.

I have never had to “pull up fo da spicy”

Eaten at Popeyes in Mobile/Baldwin county all my life. I’ve also never really had bad service there. I think y’all make some of this shite up because you think the meme is funny.

Do you realize they dont just let chicken sit under warmers all day and night? They cook enough to last 15 minutes...

That’s the key. The “powers that be” are at the store level. A Popeyes assistant manager in charge of a shift isn’t using complex algorithms to determine how much chicken to cook.

They were promoted to asst. manager because they show up to work on time and haven’t been accused of stealing yet. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes you have to wait, and sometimes they have to throw out a bunch of chicken because they cooked too much.

Bad service is a louisiana thing.
Possibly a Mississippi thing too.

I feel like if I franchised a Popeyes, ran the daily operations, and could get like 2 decent employees, I could make a billion dollars at a location.

What’s stopping you?

Probably the part about finding 2 decent employees.

Your dad is correct. Back in the 70s, a bucket of KFC was awesome, and the services was good.
