Do any truck brands still offer a full size model with manual transmission?

a Tacoma today is what a full size used to be about 10 years ago. If you're ok with just the access cab that might be your best bet for a new truck.

I believe the F150 used to in the V6 before the Ecoboost. I have not heard nor seen one since then though.

No I’m 6’6 so I prefer a 1500 Silverado/ F150 or even a 2500.

You would think a heavy duty diesel would have a manual option still at least.

A few years back my buddy and I ran to the Home Depot. I drove and he had his daughter and her friend jump in the back seat. As I was leaving the neighborhood, I heard his daughter lean up and whisper in her dad’s ear. “Why does he keep moving that stick around?”

Dodge appears to be the only one of the heavy duty trucks.

No...

Every vehicle in 2019 you can buy with a manual transmission

No, trucks... Mostly cars and the only SUV are Jeep Compass and Wrangler.

Interesting that someone would go through the trouble to compile such a list...must be kind of a cult following for standards.

That’s incorrect, your link focuses solely on cars.

The correct link is below. There are no 2019 full-size trucks that come with a manual transmission. Your options are limited to Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma, or a Nissan Frontier. If you’re 6’6”, you’re shite outta luck or buying used.

There's no reason these days in trucks, the automatics have equal or better torque capacity and are better at handling towing loads. With turbocharged engines, the automatic transmission keeps the turbo spooled between shifts and gets it spooled quicker in the low end.

My friend is a truck dealer and he said the whole “stick” thing started with a certain group back in the day so they could identify each other secretly. As in “he can work a stick”

My friend says that since it’s ok for them to be out in public these days nobody really drives them anymore

Spoken like someone who feels inferior because “he” is incapable of operating a manual transmission vehicle.

These new automatic transmission are so efficient that they have made manual transmissions completely unnecessary.

Not unless you count the Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma as “full sized”.

They are the size of a 1990s full sized truck.
