Best don't matter. Just get one that records. Also GPS and speed data work against you.
Just get one that is 1080 p or 4k uses SD card and is auto on and off.

I have no brand loyalty I get a different one every time.

My mom bought an Altima years ago I think it was in 2006. Kept it 6 months, hit a raccoon and it caused 4k in damage. Traded it in on a Tahoe. And they do not hold value at all

Back in the day, when I was young and stupid, I bought an Altima thinking they were good cars. I had issues with it almost immediately.

Boy I was clueless.

Well, I’m 70 and drive a white Altima that is basically a grocery getter and an a 35-45 mpg vehicle. And, every other driver of an Altima that I see is some middle aged woman, teenage girl, or a fossil like myself. I’m ok with that though.

That plastic stuff is optional. I don’t understand why this is so confusing for people.

Just sent the meme from last page to a good friend of mine who drives an Altima as a beater car

Thought he would laugh but he got offended and said “only reason my bumper is messed up is because you backed into it drunk”

I said yes but point is that was 5 years ago, I gave you cash to fix it, and it’s still broken

A few years ago my family and I got to witness an Altima fricking around on the Highrise. It almost clipped a car changing lanes, tried to avoid, lost control and slammed into the guardrail.

My wife exclaims "Oh my God! Why was he driving like that?!?!"

"Altimas honey. Altimas."

I love my Nissan Versa.

It's stock, with no automatic windows. I get an oil change 2x/year and have put about 35k miles on it in 5 or so years.

I'm not a big believer in driving expensive vehicles because I'm not worried about myself, I'm worried about the other dumbasses on the road who would ruin my investment. I care far more about having a nice house with land than I do about having a nice car.

The Altima thing also applies to North MS.

Had one that was beat to shite come off an exit off the interstate. Spend 2 seconds in the right lane.. and said “naw.. frick this” and proceeded to come over into the left lane even though I was there.

I moved over to let this moron off the exit, no one was in the right lane, but they determined that they wanted in the left. And it was pouring rain.

I two footed the brake and the anti locks, AWD, and anti skid on the G37 did their thing. The dumbass missed my front bumper by paper sheet thickness lengths. To this day I don’t think the dumbass even saw me.

Nissan have to be the ghetto staple car. Because of this I didn't even consider Nissan when looking for vehicles.

The former, now disgraced, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn put high emphasis on two things: 1) drastic cost cutting and 2) making up balance sheet shortcomings by pushing sales to fleet and rental companies.

The results: the market is flooded with very cheaply made used Nissan sedans that your low income demographics will swarm to.

They don’t give a shite about their cars hence why many are missing bumpers.

This is also the reason why the cost of insurance on Nissans in particular is much higher than industry average. So when you see a Nissan, avoid it. Bad drivers who don’t give a damn, and who carry state minimum coverage (if any).

Is it hit and run when you flee on foot then return to the scene to harass the other party?

At this point the value of used Altimas must have cratered. I can't imagine it's easy finding a used one that was well maintained, with detailed service records and no history of collisions.

It’s funny you say this as we took in one last night that is mint with 127K on it and one owner with zero accidents they are definitely a rare find without a couple of accidents or body damage and terrible maintenance history attached, this one won’t last a day.
