First fire everyone at ABC.

Glad my daughter grew up when she did, Contractor’s Pass. Took my wife, daughter and one friend in at no charge. Parked in the Employee’s lot and….walked in.

Also had crew at Busch Garden’s Tampa. Park and walk in.

Never going back.

The oldest ship, Dream? Should be interesting.

Oldest ship is the Magic. Nice boat, just older. If you need to plug in a CPAP or phone charger take a European adapter for one of the outlets.

There’s adult only sections on the boat if you want to get away from kids. Food is good, and the clientele isn’t Carnival, you won’t suffer fatigue.

Disney is a company based on LGBTQ values and principles. Why would anyone take their kids there?

Check out plus sized park hoppers. If you need to shed 15 lbs it will help you.

Not cost to accurate. Depending on time of year and length of sailing, it's around $300-$500 per person per night for a balcony room. Interior rooms can be half that, or sometimes even less. And that includes all food and entertainment.

I have a 7 night booked for next year that is $296pp/pn for example, but it's not a time when school is out so it's a little better priced

Do normal families even go to Disney anymore? The vast majority of Disney shite I see online is from those Disney adult freaks

I had never been to Disney until 2023. Now it's our 4th time going just over 2 years. This is the first time we're not bringing any kids along and I'm pretty frickin excited about it. Looking forward to doing some drinking this time. Might even eat half a gummy and ride the Guardians during the fireworks at Epcot

As for ticket prices, we don't care because we get in free.

We took a trip to Calgary/Eastern B.C. last July and we spent less for all 3 of us over a week then we would have for a 2-day trip to Disney. Same thing this coming summer. We are heading back out to SE Wyoming(3rd time in 12 years) and we won't spend that much.

It's insane.

We take the kids once a year and go without them probably 5 or 6 times a year. Just weekend trips without kids. We have annual passes so when we find a cheap flight from MSY, we take it. Going next Friday through Sunday.

For the others, if you book your trip yourself, expect to pay more. Find you a Disney travel agent (they're always free) and let them book it for you. It's cheaper and less stress on you.

Nobody goes to Disney for 1 day so the $224 a day means nothing to most people. The more days you go the less per day it is.

For 7 nights with 2 kids we usually pay around 6k, staying on property. Usually value or moderate resorts. It's not nearly as expensive as people think it is.

tbh I am shocked families are still spending their money this way. Disney must have programmed them early.
