Just saw post that apparently the victoria's secret fashion show came back. seemed to pass without anything resembling the attention in the days of old. SI Swimsuit also is nothing like what it used to be.

The fees on private equity are just outrageous. The investments are usually subpar or worse, and you pay huge fees. If the investment somehow does well, the investment manager takes the cut, and you don't actually benefit from the perfromance. Heads you lose a little, tails you lose a lot situation.

i find the lowest price online, ask for $1,000 off, and then they usually knock a couple hundred off, and then I pay that.

My job had 2,000 employees in 1995. Now, it has about 175. Profits are higher, adjusted for inflation. The number of good jobs per organization has decreased dramatically.
