Did you marry a prissy, ladylike woman?

I married a more real, down to earth person, and I love it.

She’s not too prissy to mow the lawn or change a tire. It’s kind of nice knowing that I have someone who can take care of herself when I’m not around.

I don’t think I could deal with a woman who needs someone to do everything for her constantly just because she’s a princess and her daddy told her she doesn’t have to do that.

My husband didn’t… but he treats me like a princess anyway.

Equal parts country girl and lady. Best of both worlds.

I don’t think my wife has a materialistic bone in her body. Simple, has no bad habits, never wants for anything.

When did ‘ladylike’ and feminine become a bad thing, and synonymous with ‘prissy’?

Yep. One of our vehicles wouldn't start this past weekend and I asked her to pop the hood. She had no clue how to do that.

A man doesn’t ask his wife to pop the hood, mow the lawn, or change a tire.

What I don't understand is how the women with nails that are an inch long or longer are able to do anything at all.
