DFW food checking in

Live in a 30,000 pop town outside DFW area. Went to Walmart at 4:30 this morning for a few things I normally get. Yeah, we have HEB too but not open till 6.
What I saw:
Entire paper products aisle empty. Not a single thing.
Great Value chicken noodle/rice soup sold out. Ramen noodles gone. All rice and most beans gone. Bleach gone, but lots of lysol type products left. All Great Value white bread gone. Most all other bread in abundance. Ground hamburger all gone, but preformed patties in abundance. Didnt look for hand sanitizer cuz knew that was gone. Plenty of sodas. Didnt think to look for water cuz didnt need it or care about it.
Other than that, it looked normal. Lots of stockers working and I said thanks to a few.
I got my own opinion on what kinds of people bought the sold out items. But to them I say frick you for your irrational fears.

Which town? Heading to HEB shortly and trying to figure out if I'll have to travel further outside the metro to find stuff

Ennis area.
I imagine metro areas are going to be rough this weekend. There was only one other shopper I saw.
I get home around 5:30 and get a text from a buddy who said people were pouring into Walmart. I said frick you. I just left there

I went to buy a few groceries yesterday and just couldn’t understand some of the things people were hoarding.
Paper plates, bottled water, paper towels...? Why?
And bread and milk? 2 things that go bad quickly? One lady had 8 gallons of milk? What?
Luckily we mostly eat fresh food and these tardy are not touching fresh food.

I noticed the same trends at Sam's and Rouses yesterday.
All of the cheap crappy food was gone, most of the more expensive stuff was still there.
Very telling about the type of person perpetuating all of this nonsense.

I’m heading to a DFW area Best Buy this morning to pick up a computer part and I’m going to stop at Walmart along the way for hamburger buns. The guys who stock the bread and the chip aisles hustle and get there early in the morning to restock - WalMart employees don’t do those sections.
If they don’t have any, I’ll stop at Market Street, a higher end store, and look there. Supposedly, their clientele hasn’t been into panic buying as much as WM’s. If they don’t have any buns there, I’ll defrost some frozen ones I have and the kids can suffer through those. And I’ll pick up some of their awesome iced sugar cookies too!

Kroger was packed here in Addison.
Overheard a lady saying their truck was small.
Oddly enough everyone was calm and collected. No toilet paper runs. Just people grabbing their normals (maybe overdoing it slightly)

I was there around 5:30pm yesterday. The apocalypse had hit. On a side note, the one near me is worth going to just for the clientele viewing. 
By the way, since the store was out of control yesterday, I submitted an order online around midnight last night for a Sunday delivery from Market Street. Figured they would delivery whatever they're hiding in the back.

Yesterday, you could NOT get into Central Market on Lovers. Insanity
Up until yesterday, I only saw that at Walmart and Costco. Whole Foods has been very pleasant.
