As if Bourbon wasn’t skunk weed air enough, now you are going to need a respirator mask when you go down there.

New 3 story dispensary is open on Bourbon. Second floor is a “consultation area” where you can get signed up for a RX card in “10 minutes or less.” What a joke. Just make the shite unregulated at this point. Really wish it was use on site only but people would argue “you can walk around with drinks.”

I said years ago New Orleans was missing out by not granting a half dozen Use on Site licenses. Like foreign countries do. License the establishments and they would make a killing on taxes. Letting people walk around and smoke not so much. This basically kills any enforcement of illegal weed use as well unless there is a Public Use law on the books I don’t know about.

Just don't go on Bourbon. Problem solved.

It is decriminalized in NOLA.

As someone that worked near the first dispensary open to the public in the US in 2012, I find the hand wringing hilarious.

Decriminalized and Legal are different. But I agree with the sentiment. Just make it legal, I am not anti MJ at all. I just hate people walking around smoking that shite everywhere.

Hell, you probably get in more trouble lighting up a cigarette these days.

So they've removed the national guard and added open air dispensaries?

Not tough to guess how thats going to impact the clientele down there this fall.

Have fun with that.

Then you wouldn't have to pay the tax of an RX card.

You’re worried about Bourbon Street smelling like weed? Sounds like it would be an upgrade from the smell of piss.

Yep, and the whole process of getting a “prescription” is hilarious. Talk about grifters.
