But it is clear to me at various times he was putting pressure on his neck with his knee.
Then he’s not guilty if it’s a various times.

Even more interesting, they didn't ask one single question or ask for one piece of evidence.
Yup that was concerning. Usually a case of this magnitude would have several requests for such

They were told that they would have a computer in the deliberation room with access to all of the exhibits in digital form. But it is odd they didnt ask for clarification on any of the jury instructions.

That's not an encouraging sign for the defense.

It was never about facts. If it had been more publicly investigated initially before him being railroaded into charges, he wouldn't be here right now to start with.

It makes me somewhat uncomfortable that a jury can reach a legit, well-reasoned verdict in such a short time period regarding such a big case

Ahh good to know.

yeah. major betting has to be swinging way to conviction

Yeah unless a juror went in his chambers and straight up said frick yall, I aint voting guilty, it wouldn't likely be called hung this quickly.
Not for a hung jury.
But there's no reason which would prevent the jury from acquitting on a short time cycle either. Having a verdict reached doesn't suggest anything particularly good or bad.
I still predict acquittal.

Is it though?

Guys, chauvin is going to found guilty of the murder charge
I don’t see how they remotely proved the murder charges. I still think it’s remotely possible that Chauvin accidentally killed Floyd, but now not beyond a reasonable doubt. Surely someone in that room has to see the murder charges as ridiculous given what the defense presented.

The jury knew they were going to convict from moment 1. It didn't matter what was said. Those people weren't ruining their lives over the cop.
This will be appealed and Chauvin actually has a decent chance.

FWIW, the Zimmerman verdict took the same amount of time.

Man, this is absolutely brutal for Chauvin. I am stunned we have a verdict already

yeah the only way I can see a hung jury is if they are split down the middle and neither side was willing to compromise...or maybe 1 or 2 jurors said..."He's not guilty and I will stay here a month and nothing will change my mind"
Posted on 4/20/21 at 2:36 pm to SlowFlowPro
There mind was made up before the trial started. Maybe one or two had some questions, but the majority swayed them to convict.
I say guilty on all counts, then it goes to appeals.

that was completely different
the defense literally slaughtered the prosecution up, down, left, and right in the Trayvon case
