Yep, just announced. I'm shocked, he's not going to be acquitted. That was too fast.
I fully expected a hung jury.

There's apart of me that doesn't blame these jurors for looking out for their own safety, but our legal system is officially broken.
Yeah, unlike the Simpson and Rodney King juries, I have sympathy for these people. I’m going to be fricking pissed at them if they give him murder charges, but my ire for this trial is aimed squarely at the media and politicians if he gets a 2nd degree manslaughter charge.

Yeah it's gonna be guilty on murder

Me too. I was like damn dude that is a bad look. Shows you can't always believe what you "see".
I watched zero trial, so his hand wasn’t in his pocket and knee not on neck? Other camera angles somewhere?

Yeah unless a juror went in his chambers and straight up said frick yall, I aint voting guilty, it wouldn't likely be called hung this quickly.
Maybe that did happen.
Maybe that did happen.

Oh shite! Verdict reached.

Way too quick for a hung jury as well I assume
You're correct. Can't have a hung jury in less than 24 hours in a murder case.

Are you trolling
A little. But it is clear to me at various times he was putting pressure on his neck with his knee. Was his knee there the entire time applying pressure? I don't know, but to me it's pretty clear he's using his knee on his neck to hold him down in that still image, and the videos I've seen show that as well.
Is that what killed him? I don't know. I think at worst, Chauvin is guilty of manslaughter. Like I said I didn't watch the trial so I have no definitive opinion on his guilt or innocence.

If we had a hung jury, best case I see is we’d get that on Thursday.

Even more interesting, they didn't ask one single question or ask for one piece of evidence.

there wouldn't be reports of a verdict in the case of a hung jury
it would be a note to the judge saying "we're deadlocked"
And the judge would call them in and advise them they have to keep deliberating at least a little longer

Unless you know exactly how much weight was placed upon the dead criminals back how can you even call it manslaughter?
Do you people not care about facts?
You don’t have enough.
