Yes. If upgraded to First Degree a jury could come back with lesser jury.

IF they recorded the rape = video voyeurism is a crime.

There also looks to be kidnapping.

Manslaughter could be charged but given the time and distance from her being dropped off to run over it'd be tough to stick.

Victims past sexual behavior isn't admissible at trial. No victim blaming allowed based on reputation.

The defendants' past behavior - other crimes - may be if it shows a pattern. There's allegations online of previous rape by one of the perps. The victim there could possibly be allowed to testify in this trial but it'd be to show m.o. - not that he's just a bad guy.

More the perps are charged with the more likely the perps are to do serious time.

At some point, one may 'flip' to get a better deal and testify against the others. Can see that happening already with the affidavit basically saying, "She was super drunk and I told them it was a bad idea...."

These guys likely have no priors, and none of them are a flight risk.

This entire case is extremely unsettling. I know its stating the extreme obvious but it is literally gut wrenching to have to sort through these events and this be the last moments of your daughter's life. What kind of state could she have possibly been in when 15-30 minutes later of having 2 trash ball dudes rape you in the back of a car with 2 other trash balls watching, you are somehow standing in the middle of a dark highway at 2:50 am. Very sad.

Can only hope all of these shitwads spend the majority of their lives in Angola getting the worst treatment from whatever hierarchy exists inside those walls amongst the population.
