If you’re gonna name an airport after Trump, then Palm Beach International is the way to go. I’d figure the airport in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg would be appropriate for Dolly. I’d vote for Nashville if I lived in TN.

The current name is Nashville International Airport, isn't it? The IATA designation could remain BNA even if they name the airport for Dolly. It hasn't been Berry Field in years. Just like Atlanta has stayed ATL after adding Hartsfield and Jackson's name to it.

Both my parents and in-laws have been married for 57 years… and I can name at least a dozen of my high school classmates with parents in the same boat. It’s more common than you think.

A couple of nights ago I got stuck at a shipper on Harding Industrial Drive and had to finish off my reset at their warehouse. At 10pm Nashville International changed runways and started landing planes from the south on 2C, planes were passing over my truck at about 50'. Didn't get much sleep after that.

Maybe they can plant some bushes or small trees around the runway to achieve this. Or do we go nuclear and shave off everything and cement around the entire runway or use gravel to prevent any grass or growth around the runway. Otherwise there will always be a little brush around the runway, just have to maintain it so it doesn’t go 70’s bush around the runway.
