Any buoy readings out there? Any actual readings close to 115mph sustained winds?

You shouod see how many birds die offshore after a storm. High velocity impact with metal structures doesn't bode well for birds.

It actually looks like they are getting some weather there as well right now says 34 mph winds in galveston on the beach cams

Winds in Metairie are a good bit more than what we had for Laura so it has got to be bad going west.
