Postman I tried that but it’s wing was damaged although I have no idea how badly. It would try to fly and would just flip over. Rehab lady said it looked like a girl due to coloring

Landfall still 5 hours or so away. Plenty time to weaken more but 95 or 100 Cat 2 is nothing to ignore.

on their last pass in the NE eyewall... the HH plane found winds of 96-113 kts (110-130 mph) up at flight level

but that's up at flight level

considering what this storm has been... play it safe and put the low end of that flight level reading to account for the possibility that there's 1 little bit of that wind getting to the ground somewhere in the storm
