Postman I tried that but it’s wing was damaged although I have no idea how badly. It would try to fly and would just flip over. Rehab lady said it looked like a girl due to coloring

the winds up high at flight level still pack a punch... even though they're not down at the surface
NHC guys will keep that number elevated since there could be that 1 little pocket where the high winds at flight level have reached the ground

Landfall still 5 hours or so away. Plenty time to weaken more but 95 or 100 Cat 2 is nothing to ignore.

Can't wait until I have a NHC job and can rattle these clowns cages and keep my TD baws in on the secret updates.

Will storm surge put Cameron under water again?
Posted on 10/9/20 at 1:02 pm to NorthEndZone
Those wind speeds will create havoc in the LC area.

Does BRCC have a good meteorology program?

on their last pass in the NE eyewall... the HH plane found winds of 96-113 kts (110-130 mph) up at flight level
but that's up at flight level
considering what this storm has been... play it safe and put the low end of that flight level reading to account for the possibility that there's 1 little bit of that wind getting to the ground somewhere in the storm
