While I am glad it’s looking like Baldwin county is out of this one, I feel so terrible for you people who just went through Laura. It’s cruel and seems so unfair. Wish we could make it go away.

I haven’t had time to read the whole thread, what’s the latest outlook for BR?

So what’s current best guess for center of hurricane? Lake Charles?
They saying Cat 2 at landfall? Weaker? Stronger?
That will change.

The first time I click on this thread this morning and its on fricking titty milk again.
I enjoyed the titty milk discussion yesterday. Started off a little bitter, but by the end was very satisfying.

Based on everything so far, I’m expecting Cat 2 just east of LCH.

30 miles east of Laura and 30mph less
One might also change those 30s to
35.0..........

It that a giant eye being replaced by a smaller eye in that satellite image on page one?
Posted on 10/8/20 at 8:21 am to whoa
So a cat 2 coming right to Lake Charles? Great

I don't recommend living in Louisiana. I grew up in La., but the weather here is terrible.

Iowa and Welsh fricked but it'll shift s little more. Might be another direct impact to Lake Charles

I wish the people in this thread bickering about nonsense would stop, and that the focus would be on informative posts only, so those of us who need to get information can without sifting through garbage to get it. Start another thread if you want to get into a pissing match. Or, maybe the mods can start another dedicated information thread like they did during Laura.

I don't want to drive all the way to NOLA. No way Baton Rouge should get enough off of this to cause power outages is there?

I’d assume some sporadic power outages in BR but nothing major?

I expect some outages but I dont think widespread. I think I saw we are now expecting 40 to 50 mph gusts...
