CC didn’t make that call the call came from Houma and the parents are fricking pissed because they were supposed to have a football game in Bastrop tomorrow night and they won’t let them play.

I was pretty shocked they waited until so late to call it. The email didn't go out until after school today.

Need more pics of weather girls. Or female meteorologists. Whatever is the politically correct term for girls with pretty faces who explain a storms path

You need to watch Levi's video. This simply isn't true, yet.

The problem with Hurricane Delta is that unlike Laura it is expected to arrive during high tide of 2.6 feet at midnight.

My life has been a series of tragedies that started in March of last year and has no sign of letting up. I consider it the norm now.

Quite the opposite. They made the call about the football game too early. I was with some of the parents when the call was made and shite hit the fan. This was around 1230-100

You need to wait at this point and get those "it's mid-February, winter's on the way out, and it's as far from hurricane season as you can get" prices.

Yeah I almost bought one the last time Costco put one on sale. I’ll be on the lookout for sales going forward.

New Orleans dodged a direct impact. That's like 99% off the table at this point.

They sent out a text around 2PM to the elementary parents saying no decision had been made and they were waiting to hear from the diocese. Text and email update came about an hour and a half later.

His words were that New Orleans could still see pretty high winds because this system should have a larger wind field to its east, displaced. Also, a much larger wind field as it expands when it starts making landfall. Did you watch his video?

I don't know, but you should definitely reach out to the NHC and inform them of your "strangest feeling".

If they are not made aware, then how could they possibly calculate a better predicted path? You would be putting lives at risk by NOT informing them.

What a dumbest response. I am not even a self proclaimed armchair forecaster. And I am aware that it is unlikely. This one just feels like it has been too predictable. I have no idea why it feels like that.
