That is one of the more surprisingly honest things I've ever heard from a contractor.

Yeah CC was the only diocesan school to announce a closure for Thursday and Friday. Otherwise people are excited about being able to say and then claim they rode out Hurricane Delta like Rummy does with Hurricane Bob.

The only place along the Louisiana coast that can't withstand any type of hurricane currently is Lake Charles. The rest of the coast could have taken this one on the chin with little to no damage. A Cat 2 in the LC area will be a big problem.

I'm a big fricking idiot who keeps putting off buying a generator so the prospect of being without power is the reason I'm still considering leaving.

You need to wait at this point and get those "it's mid-February, winter's on the way out, and it's as far from hurricane season as you can get" prices.

CC didn’t make that call the call came from Houma and the parents are fricking pissed because they were supposed to have a football game in Bastrop tomorrow night and they won’t let them play.

I’m just here to monitor the cones and keep the weather guys honest. I’m like the old man you have to show your receipt to as you leave Walmart. No idea what I’m doing but happy to be doing it.

No the better approach is to wait a year and pick up the ones that won't start anymore because they were put up and forgotten. A new carb is cheap.

This may be one of the most honest statements I've read on the OT.
