If its as bad as some are saying there wont be anywhere for the restoration crews to stay/fuel up/get ice and food, etc. So they have to clear out the bama coast just in case as its so close to Nola.

The farthest west it will go is pecan island

Certainly looks like Delta is about to do some structural changes. I think that mini eye was probably too unstable with the touch of shear it's getting. Looks like it's building a new dominant band on that south side this afternoon.
