Rds, Duke, Slack, Geaux... is there anything showing a shift to the east? Not necessarily a significant shift. Everything keeps shifting west and nothing to the east.

I get three days of 'They closed the floodgates I can't get out' excuses from employees.

Have thought about going setup a sting at the Violet Walmart to see if they show up there to buy food/beer.

My dad lives by himself in St. Charles Parish and he would never evacuative. He has a whole house generator and he wants to be the baw on the street living in normal comfort while most of the neighborhood is toughing it out with no power. lol

That lasted about 4 days until I felt my daughter immune system was up for the challenge.

It's going to turn N and then NE at some point, and in my head that gives me a bias of track error to the east at the end. Yes, there's room to come back east some.

Disrupts their sleep? Newborns will sleep through the fricking 4th of July. I think the newborns parents are whining more than their kids would be

My infant kids would sleep through the house alarm going off but would wake up if the door squeeked when I was walking out the room. Babies are a fickle bunch.

We'll sound the alarms if the danger for NOLA and down Plaquemines way would be in bigger danger. Y'all are in for some surge without a doubt, but will depend on just where this thing goes in.

Everyone looking to what I'm doing for their plans...

I've got to be able to cold store breastmilk, pump the stuff, wash the ridiculous assembly and keep bottles sanitized and clean. What I'm concerned about is electricity and very few of you will have my exact concerns.

I'm here for you baws with infants though.

you're doing that yourself?

you dawg, you

Appears we live in the same vicinity as each other. I can say without hesitation that the tree around my house give me the most anxiety during a storm. There are at least two oaks and six pines that are within falling distance of my home. All would cause significant damage and pose a risk to my family's well being.
