There is like a week of hype, excitement, stories, clicks, money made.

Then, the clawback of the hype, and reality will hit.

It’s the weather cycle it seems.

That's a good sentiment to live by.

I don't know why the NAM gets posted so much. The only version worth a shite is the 3km and that's only ok at times.

NAM keeps trying to remove texas from the equation.
and looks to be putting emphasis on the MS gulf coast with the heaviest accumulation there now. Interesting- shifting further east.

If that HRRR model is what occurs, south Louisiana from east to west will be shut down through Thursday. I10/12 will be closed in several places for days (bridges).

No, this is total snowfall through the model run.

Also, 00z Wednesday roughly equals 6pm Tuesday.

It does seem the low is forecasting more south. Doesn't mean snow won't be seen. Relax. If the heaviest bands setup over Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Houma, it's less than a 100 miles between them.

Nothing is set in stone and some fluctuations will happen.

Accumulation stops at the Tangi STP line. I refuse to believe Nola gets more snow than the Northshore.

Just like rainfall. ..some folks receive a nominal amount while folks across town get gully washers and others get trained upon

We got 3 inches last week or so and 30 miles to the southeast 7 inches

I learned in this very thread that snow is just frozen rain, so that adds up.
