Four shooters, 2 blanks, 2 live rounds. No one knows who actually shot the condemned. Quick, efficient and guilt free. Next!

Military for firing squads. Four shooters, 2 blanks, 2 live rounds. No need for a guillotine.

WTF? Go to your nearest veterinarian and get some of that shite from them.

I once saw a vet give a racehorse with a broken leg an injection and that shite killed it in seconds. No pain or struggling, just dead, in seconds.

Use Fentanyl. They have tons of nice pure stuff, confiscated from the tire wells of drug mule vehicles. I bet the Pearl, MS Police Dept has half a ton or so, held as evidence from the past year's trafficker arrests on I-20 Between Pelahatchie and Jackson. Evidently if you are Hispanic and willing to drive from Atlanta to Dallas three or four times a month, you have no problem finding a job these days.

I honestly don't know what they do with the stuff after the trials. By my calculations, the Pearl PD has enough to kill all of Mississippi, Louisiana, and part of Texas. I also understand a little of it, injected most anywhere into the condemned would lead to a quick-quick death.

They could put a syringe, with a full dose of Naloxone just out of the reach of the condemned, so he/she could see it as they went to sleep for the last time.

People who are willing to risk life in Angola arent particularly deterred by being killed, many may rather be killed actually. Probably not a deterrent.

I think if it helps the family then I'm good with it but I dont see deterrence really.

Maybe we could just set out some antifreeze in a water dish for the death row inmates to drink. Works on cats.

I don’t plan on ever being on death row, but I think I’d choose firing squad personally. I don’t see why anyone pro death penalty would be against it.

Problem with firing squads and guillotines is you need people to operate them. Who do you recruit for these jobs?

I could possibly be talked into it

Louisiana doesn’t even execute via lethal injection anymore. They’d never go to firing squad.

Public hanging should be instituted. Send a message to all tPOS.

Shoot all we have to do is dial back early release, remove the color tv's, yard privileges, etc...

If you're in jail, you should be in a tiny room and sleeping on a metal cot.

I have no problem with death penalty firing squads in Louisiana for guilty people.

the problem is we frequently give life sentences to innocent people and don't find out until they have served 20+ years.

would be hard to release them if they had already been murdered by a firing squad.

Long drop hanging should be the default method of execution in these United States, but I wouldn't object to opting in to firing squad, although that may bestow unearned honor to those so choosing.

We haven't executed anybody in years, in part because we have a bad problem with juries who convict and condemn folks to death who are, in fact, are innocent. There are likely some on death row now, but its likely we just skim the surface of cleaning up this problem.
How do we know? We have eleven people who, in recent years have actually been able to PROVE themselves innocent, often with DNA evidence and solid corroborating evidence. It is not easy to collect the evidence while on death row in Angola, but some have been able to do it. We are in the top five of states having wrongful death sentences.
So, before we get in too big of a hurry on how we are going to shoot/ kill/ behead or flay folks, maybe we should make sure they are guilty. Just a thought.
