Only the Death Penalty will deter many of the murders we see in our larger cities like Baton Rouge, New Orleans, etc.

What makes you think this is true?

Should institute corporal punishment for crimes instead of prison time. These people aren’t bothered by prison, but mutilation is something they would understand. It’s barbaric but nothing else is slowing crime.

Happens on a regular basis in N.O. when the hood rats take revenge.

The bad thing is they're not too damn accurate with holding the guns sideways about scalp high and randomly spraying the area.

Usually the intended target gets away and some unlucky 8 yr. old gets killed.

I say you are a fricking idiot if you think the death penalty is a deterrent; it's not; it just costs millions more with all the appeals; life without parole and be done with it unless the defendant goes along with it; then, take that frick out behind the courthouse and put two in his head;

I think criminals that deserve the death penalty aren’t logically thinking about potential punishments before committing their heinous crimes

You said why would the method make a difference.

I did not say the cost is why there have been so few excacutions in LA. This was your question I shouldn't have to explain it to you.

Are you drunk.

Not only would I like to see a firing squad, but I would be in favor of the victim's family members offered a spot as one of the shooters, if they so choose.
It's called closure!

You couldn't be bothered to type your initial response in a complete sentence, so please accept my deepest apologies.

Can you explain your answer a little more clearly, then? What would cost have to do with the state not performing an executions in nearly 15 years?

All you need to do is stand them on i10 in NO East. The problem takes care of itself.
