Liberal establishment and that's ok but those beliefs aren't going to help the city. People need to make a stand in that city.

Now I want a sammich

Its not a secret. Dan seems to be a good guy but he is obviously fairly liberal. He's not anywhere close to as in your face about it as his pal Mason Hereford is, but its obvious where his thought processes go.

Ellishughtiger walks to Steins all the time and never feels unsafe so you right wing lunatics are just inflating the situation because you're scared of progress

Not sure how you can call Stein one of "our" restaurateurs when you live in another state.

Yeah, there is a 100% chance that he and/or people who work for him will blame this on "the system" failing our children. Spoiler alert: parents are the system.

Pardon me for being territorial. I believe I've earned the right. I've stayed and paid my property taxes. I organize for and donate to politicians who want a safer city. I didn't tuck my tail and run like a scalded dog to another state because I was scared. I elected to stay and effect change. And I 100% understand your decision to move and the reasoning that went into it. But by making that decision you forfeited the right to use the possessive pronouns "my" and "our" when referring to the city.

Stein's is a GREAT place for a good sandwich, but you get what you vote for.

Because it’s not just about taking others’ belongings. It’s about establishing dominance, taking revenge upon those who have oppressed you for so long, humiliation, and collecting your pound of flesh. It’s sport at this point. I don’t know how you change that mentality.

He didn’t forfeit anything. You and others in New Orleans enabled the decay for years. New Orleans is in an irreversible death spiral and is only going to get worse.

It’s unbelievable how when you think New Orleans can’t reach a new level of shitty-ness, it manages to break that and reach an even lower level. At the rate NOLA is regressing, it’s on track to surpassing Portland and San Francisco in terms of being America’s shittiest city. Hell, Louisiana is already the shittiest state in America so it makes sense.

Would you mind explaining how I specifically have enabled the decay? I don't deny that there is decay, but I'd like to know which of my actions facilitated or accelerated the decaying process.

Are you the sort of guy that asks, "what position do you play?" when someone uses "we" when referring to a sports team?

Your property taxes you boasted about fund the people causing the decays salary (ie: the mayor and DA). And probably funds programs that make it worse.

That’s probably the hard truth. You’re financially enabling this to an extent. We said “no more” and left.

100%. I will absolutely clown on my friends if they say some dumb shite like "we just need to stay focused on the next game and not look too far down the road." Really, Mike? What happens if you and I lose focus?
