Pretty ridiculous a news station doesn't have someone constantly monitoring social media in this day and age. The OT posted the video clearing the guy within minutes.
Eta I'm sure they do, but one would think that video would be enough to not have to wait on the police to clear him.

One of the first people they interviewed said he told his friend to give his rifle to the police so they wouldn't mistake him after the shooting. Wonder if he was talking about this guy.
