anyone know the proximity of the garage to where the cop was executed on the ground? i wonder at what point did he flee higher ground

He may have started with two guns? Maybe he ditched the sniper rifle and continued with the AR later on?

No, after the first 34 shots , sniper fire rang out, then semi fire bursts, then more sniper fire simultaneous. Even with echo shots were too close together to ha e one person switching guns

That seems to be what happened. He started in the garage, tried to leave either by foot or by car(one witness said he hopped out of a Tahoe before the ground shoot out), then returned to the garage for the stand off.

From what it sounded like on my phone, I heard a shotgun, lots of 5.56 and 9, and a larger rifle (maybe 308). I don't think the shooter would've gone with more than two guns

So essentially he fired shots at officers, killed the officer behind the building columns (this was that gif and video linked earlier in the thread), then ran into the parking garage and was cornered.
I wonder how long it was between him entering the garage and him being cornered. When did they get the idea of multiple shooters?

Saw reports early last night that police snipers were positioned near the demonstration & they fired on the suspect position within a few minutes of the shooting starting. Can't find anything on it now & many early reports were wrong, so no idea if it's true or not.

It's gonna starting to becoming a little more suspicious now that news is trying to prop up an assault rifle ban.
As if people who go to these extremes are buying their guns from dicks sporting goods or some shite.
If anything, this event proves we need to keep them UNBANNED so people can protect themselves against people who get them on the black market

No idea unfortunately.
Also I watched the video and they were both well spoken and seemingly good people. I still think it's ridiculous that he wore camo and brought a rifle, and believe as another poster said, you stir shite you will get some on you
But I will agree that BLM needs more upstanding black men representing them and not the twitter warriors talking about "letting the chopper fly"
It's shitty the cops tried to lie to him saying there was video of him shooting the gun. Probably trying to corner him and see if he was lying, but a shitty tactic for sure.

I was listening to it live on the scanner and it sounded like they had him cornered around 9:20-9:30PM. They had eyes on him from other buildings shortly after that and were calling for ballistic shields. That's when the scanner kind of went silent.
It all started just before 9. So, he probably changed positions several times in the garage then tried to leave and encountered the officers on the ground around 9:10-9:15 and was chased back in to the garage.

All of this "love and peace will overcome, not hate" talk is worthless. None of this hand-holding liberal crap that we hear after every mass shooting is going to stop criminals from doing what they're doing. That's the cold reality.
