Yep, it was a frick up. From a DPD perspective, not nearly enough to care about or warrant pages and pages talking about it.

It's more of a, "that could have been handled better, but it wasn't. Ok, let's talk about any of the other 500 more interesting or important things from last night."

One realistic black guest on CNN specifically mentioned this as being a hate crime which was good to hear buts that's the only person I have heard say that

It would've been his own fault for carrying an AR-15 during a protest-turned-shooting had he been mistakenly shot--not the fault of news outlets, public or private, saying he's a person of interest. Take the media blast out of it--if a cop sees a person with an AR who matches the description of the shooter, what do you think would've happened? It's all based on his actions and choices.

TBH, i don't have an opinion on either one of these shootings as to who's right or wrong because in my opinion, there isn't conclusive enough evidence to support either side and that's the truth

i can't believe it's boiled over like this man.. i have people who have been life long friends on my facebook feed fighting and cursing each other out.. if this escalates more nationally, this could be a huge point of american history (i don't mean to be corny or sensationalize), but this is fricked up man
