its good for BLM thy he denounced it but his message was still the same and plenty of BLM social media posts are advocating what he did. I'm sorry BLM is not as peaceful as you'd like to think it is.

yea i understand that he probably wasnt tactically in charge at all at that point but the news outlets can wait imo. cops have been killed, still under fire, and there could be bombs around the area.

I see where you are coming from, but I think that there was such hysteria, and still so many civilians out in the streets in the surrounding area, he felt like it was neccessary to calm everyone down as much as possible.

I guess I thought it was odd because he gave off the notion that he was getting back into the "fight" and that he was needed. If he was that needed in the situation, I figure he might hold off on the presser.

Thats a good point. He probably is very recognizable in the area. Seeing one of your leaders calm and in control probably helps.

He's still in charge of his officers and SWAT team. Seems like DPD used their own robot also. It was weird, but he wanted to get all of the information in and out that he could

Never in my life have i complained about a white person of interest not being cleared fast enough on national television in a chaotic situation. Never. But because this one individual was black (forgetting the long ar-15, camo wearing, military wannabe characteristics of the actual shooter) we are supposed to lend a sympathetic ear to this totally uncalled for situation. eat a dick lester.
