Dad was just diagnosed with leukemia. Prayers please. UPDATE in OP

I'm not a FB guy so i figure i'd come here. Thanks guys
ETA: 65
Had "pre-leukemia" for 6 months. tried treating it. found out yesterday it's now full blown leukemia. Hoping to hear from MD Anderson today. That's all i know. Thanks for the support.

Prayers sent. My mom beat this over a decade ago thanks to MD Anderson. Lots of options for fighting it.

i know the feeling. my sister was diagnosed yesterday (50 years old). third bout with C. prayers for your pop.

Don't get down just yet. My dad is 65 and was diagnosed last year. As of right now, he is in remission. He did have to go through treatments, but they did seem to work.
