very sorry to hear this, as I know it is difficult news....luckily, there are some pretty good treatments available for leukemia nowadays.

my prayers go out for all in this thread who have loved ones battling these cancers.

Part A.
I like and use hono pono pono;. Its a Polynesian process of forgiveness.
You be sure to check it out.
LINK

Briefly, I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you. some of that. with or without specifics.
Various Polynesian islands have developed nuances. You can look up hono pono and they will come up. Check them out. You will pick up pieces you can apply to your situation. Its very healing. I did it with my dad some when he had two weeks to go from his cancer.

Part B. big picture. important for you.
1. EVERYONE DIES. Every person. once you get with that in an accepting way, its a lot nicer to deal with a loved one passing. People freak around the whole idea of someone having a potentially lethal disease.

2. Get help outside of TD. Hospice, some formal support for everyone, both the family and the person.

Depending on how its handled, it can be the best thing since Christmas if someone is harboring grudges. Clean it all up. It will make it a lot easier for him to pass if all is forgiven.
