Well I opened this thread because of your sister. I was concerned about her. And then I saw you and thought "What are the chances that this guy has a sister, I have a cousin, diagnosed on the same exact day, same exact scenario and she's the same age.

she dosn't get the final diagnosis until wed. evening or thurs. morning, so there is still a glimmer of hope.

Strong word of advice. Get a second opinion and get to a proper cancer treatment facility immediately. We just lost my brother in law to Leukemia because they dicked around and listened to treatment options from a local doctor and hospital in Montgomery. By the time they got to MD Anderson in Houston, it was too late.

Be aggressive in treating this shite and always get a second opinion. Otherwise the goddam insurance company will dictate when your dad dies.

Well we are praying for your family and her especially. Pass that on for us please. Just don't tell her it was done on a ridiculous message board using an account where I act like a total idiot.

Best of luck to you and your family! Do you know if y'all caught it in an early stage? I know leukemia in children now is highly curable...
