The production capacity is miniscule for what was supposed to be a mass produced vehicle.

It is unbelievably ugly, and unfortunately the appearance of a vehicle is one of the most important factors for consumers.

Nobody it is denying it is ugly. I just turned down purchase on one because it was a 6.2 Apr. even throwing 50k down on it and trading my f150 I couldn’t justify it. To get the 400 mile range it was 115k It is the most technologically advanced vehicle on the market. Until you have driven one you will just be a hater.

This should be the definition of insecurity in dictionaries

Just seems to be a strange thing for people to be upset about. A much larger issue is the quality of brands like Ford which more people own. They are absolute trash but you really don't see many topics on it. Not sure why that is.

People make sport of tracking this booger Tesla around Huntsville, AL. The dude who owns it must have as rollback on call 24/7 because he's had the thing towed no less than 20 times since he's had it.

The bumper/hitch getting ripped off the truck is all I need to see to know it's a not an actual truck. It's just an armored car easily available to the public.

That interior looks like shite. No dashboard just a stupid looking monitor in the center?

I reserved the low end model in 2019. With the repricing, I now feel betrayed. I don't know if that was Elon's intent but it is what it is.

Even the most ardent tesla fanboys will tell you the overall fit/finish/quality of tesla vehicles is garbo.

You don't see topics on Ford/chevy being subpar in quality and reliability? Are you blind?

I wouldn't buy one, but I think they are interesting. I like the fact that they made it. So many car makers show concepts and never deliver anything like it.

I can tell you old fogies here that are rootin' tootin' angry about it... kids fricking love it. It's unique, people talk about it, and for all the people that talk shite... once they see one, they tell others. They take photos in parking lots. At car shows, people pile up to see them even when there's a Bugatti down the aisle.

And they are selling like crazy.

Slapping a giant iPad randomly on the center console is the worst design trend to take hold of the industry over the past several years.

Having to go through menus constantly to access various controls is ridiculous. I'd still rather have separate controls for HVAC and entertainment. It also seems annoying and distracting not to have anything oriented to the driver, with just a center mounted device made for all markets.

As of last tally, they’ve delivered like 4k of them, at the cost of seriously damaging the Tesla car brand. How is that not a fail?

Don't know when Elon's screws got loose.
He could have made even more fortunes with a half decent looking truck.

I saw one parked in the Target parking lot a few weekends ago. What do they cost? $75k-$80k?

That's a lot of money to put into something that you don't know how it will age. Its an ugly vehicle, but if it is a quality vehicle that you can get a few more years out of than a vehicle in the same price range the look wouldn't bother me all that much. You can get better use from a truck.
