Ancient Egypt yeah, the ancestors (interbred with others) and the land lives on but there’s no pharaohs anymore

There has been some recent research thanks to modern tech. Some french Architect quit his job locked himself in his basement with a computer and did some serious 3-d modeling and came up with a few fresh theories about em. It's been on tv a few times maybe das what has caused the discussion here.

I think he has been ridiculed as crackpot, but I enjoyed that Graham Hancock guy on Rogan's podcast about all of this.

Personally, I believe the launching of the James Webb is going to be the beginning of a turning point in "knowledge" concerning everything from the beginning of our civilization to our perception of reality itself.

People during the 1980s looked back at the 1940s like people today look back at the 1980s.
If you were born in 1970, (and today is your birthday) you were born closer to the end of WW1 than to today.
02/08/1970 - 02/08/2022 = 52 years
11/11/1918 - 02/08/1970 = 51 years, 2 months and 28 days

The Macedonian Greek dynasty that ruled Egypt, did so longer than the United States has been around.

As a whole society, unless educated..They probably didn't think about them much.
It surprised me to learn that formal education essentially didn’t exist during the Roman era. Only the nobility went to school and there they were only taught how to act like nobility. Everybody else went through the school of hard knocks.

probably vastly different. The vast majority of people had no accurate sources of information, so everything they heard amounted to legends, exaggerations, and fiction.
I think it might have heard this from Dan Carlin. It only took 2 or 3 generations from the fall of Rome for folks to start saying the Aquaducts were built by giants or gods.

Poverty Point was also built in Louisiana 500 years after the pyramids started.

Consider that there are cities that are entirely buried just by the accumulation of earth.
It’s possible that a more technologically advanced civilization than ours previously existed on earth and has been completely erased by the effects of time.
