keep a small spiral notebook on my desk with daily tasks I need to do. And log every important message. I cross out when tasks complete or returned call with date and time. I put a start date on the cover and the end date on the cover when the notebook is full. I have a file box in my office where I have kept every notebook since 2000. Literally can see what I did everyday at work since then.

I still buy compact disks
I used to check them out from the library and upload them to my iPod/iPhone. I had what seemed like a million songs saved and got burned out on every one.

I keep check lists for things I need to do, even if I won't forget them, because I like to check them off.

I believe the the term for it is 'jealousy'.

I have this irrational fear that my credit card will get compromised and have to be canceled or there will be a mass internet outage when I'm on a road trip, so I always carry enough cash to feed us, house us, and pay for the gas home even though I've never had to use it.

When I close my eyes imagine scenes from a book I'm dreaming up and let them play out

I wake up at 4:45am just to lay on the couch for 30-40minutes under a blanket. I think it has something to do with it being my only alone time in our house without kids or wife talking ...but I'm not 100% sure why I do it. Habit at this point.
Craziest part is I don't set an alarm, my alarm is actually set for 5:15am. My body just wakes up at 4:45 like clock work.

Makes me think about how much I miss my old Franklin Planner.

I do the same thing. I really look forward to it on the weekends.

I put the jelly on before the peanut butter when making a PB&J.
This is the best way. After spreading the jelly you can wipe the knife clean on the other piece of bread before dipping it in the PB. It’s a little tougher the other way around.

I surgically cut fried eggs into 6 sections so each part has an equal portion of yolk.
I avoid stepping on painted lines in parking lots, and particularly handicapped spaces and ramps. Likely from avoiding stepping on foul lines as a baseball thing.

I avoid painted lines too because sometimes the paint can be slippery when wet. I learned that the hard way when I slipped on a painted curb many years ago.

+1
Also, there is something to writing with a good pen, heck, even an ok pen. I feel writing has been lost.

Always said if women spent that time in the gym, they wouldn't need the makeup
