Back in the day, had a guy in my squadron. Anyway this guy gets sent to the same base he was supposed to go to a different squadron, somewhere along the line they decide he really needs to come over to my squadron instead. You get a sponsor to help you get settled, in process etc. He was assigned this really nice looking girl as a sponsor, she helps him for a few days then he gets word of the change and she hands him off to someone in my squadron.

Fast forward about 6 months, this guy calls her and says he is having a tough time etc... goes over to her place proceeds to rape her with a knife to her throat beats her up pretty good. Leaves there and comes to my place to mooch a beer. Acting nervous etc... didn't think anything about it until about 10 at night when my commander calls me and asks if Troy had been at my place.

I end up testifying in the trial, sick fricker, she was on her period and made her hold her tampon in her hand and keep squeezing it while he raped her and hit her in the face with the handle end of a hunting knife.

She had to have reconstructive surgery. Troy got 18 years in South Dakota pen.

3. 2015 I was looking for a house and checked one out on Bonnabel. Pulled my truck up the drive to look at the back yard. When I backed up to the front yard, the old man who owned the place was in the yard, armed. I kept my hands visible and explained that I was just looking at the house. That’s the old man who killed Big Lee in 2018. So I guess the house didn’t sell.*

*If I had bought the house, would I have saved Big Lee’s life?

What street did he live on?

Are you referring to the Bocage subdivision in Algiers or is this another Bocage?

Bocage in Baton Rouge. When I was a kid a friend of mine claimed he knew of a house with a helicopter pad... of course we thought it was BS.... until one day we rode our bikes there and peeked through the fence and sure enough there was helicopter sitting right outside the house on a pad in the yard. I'm sure the neighbors loved that right in the middle of the city/neighborhood.

No, if that were the case I would have been looking in Old Metairie, not Bonnabel north of the interstate.

A family I grew up with, had four brothers all pretty close to the same age, I was good friends with three of them, except the youngest, he was a few years younger than us. One day the youngest brother and a group of outlaws decided to rob an armored bank truck. That didnt end up too good, he is still in Angola. One of his older brothers was a Louisiana State Senator until not long ago, i'm sure they are on here.

Miranda Fenner murder took place a block away from my house in rural Montana. I went to high school with her. My wife’s, at the time, boyfriend had recently broken up with Miranda and was questioned HEAVILY by police. (I still think he may have done it.)

Two guys I went to high school with (not in the same grade) killed their parents. One last year, and one several years ago. The latter killed himself and his cell mate in prison by somehow setting their bunks on fire. He was batshit crazy. The former, from what I understand, showed up to his parents house high as hell on meth to get his daughter. They wouldn’t let him have her so he shot them both and kidnapped her. Released her unharmed and I guess is still awaiting trial.

Also, my BiL was killed in a home invasion at an apartment in Shreveport years ago. One guy is doing 25 at Angola for manslaughter (don’t get me started on this bullshite) and they didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute the other guy.

My wife's best friend and the maid of honor in our wedding was shot in the face outside of a CVS in Dallas.

She went out to get ice cream on a Sunday night. Was getting back in her car to drive home when someone walked up to her car and fired a single shot that went in just below her bottom lip and came out of the side of her jaw/cheek.

She drove herself to the hospital after 911 put her on hold. She's still having reconstructive work but looks great. You would never know she had been shot.

Police never found the guy.

A buddy was driving his wife to work in New Orleans, when they got caught up in a drive by shooting.

His wife took a bullet to the throat.

He called 911, and they said the ambulance was something like 15 minutes away. He knew he could get her to the hospital faster.

She lived, but has a scar on her throat.

The NOPD never found the shooter (surprise.)

A friend of mine from Opelousas was married for a while to a gal, and everything was normal until they eventually divorced. A few years later, she and her boyfriend at the time appeared on America's Most Wanted. They were on the run at the time for filming themselves raping a minor. They were eventually found a few days after the AMW episode dead in the Arizona desert from suicide.

This is news to me. When did Barry Seal live in Butch Baum's old house? It's the only house in Bocage with a helicopter pad, and Butch used to fly Santa in for the Bocage Christmas parade. I've never heard anyone talk about this until now, and I know people who have lived in Bocage since it was built.

Genuinely curious about this story.

and he goes off on a wild story about how he was being chased by black helicopters piloted by Condoleeza Rice and Donald Rumsfeld. He’s arrested and at his preliminary hearing where he can enter a plea he declares the clothes he was wearing as a sovereign nation and that he was the only citizen of that nation and thereby was the elected supreme overlord of his pants.

Sounds like someone who did a lot of auditing and asking if he was being detained.

Yeah I met his parents prior to the trial. Great people. His mom asked me if I thought he did it. She was crying and it killed me to say yes I believe he did. Spent 10 of the 18 in the pen.

I hired a kid named Josh Reyes from Lebanon, Mo.. One day he just quit showing up to work. About 3 years later I was watching the news and saw that he had killed his ex girlfriend’s parents and her boyfriend. He had planned on killing 3 more but decided not to kill his ex when he saw her and couldn’t find her grandparents house.

He just seemed like a immature kid when I hired him. All he ever talked about was cars

I had sold a truck to Richard Angelico when he was the investigative reporter for WDSU. Around the same time the guy I shared an office with sold a guy named Richie Cuchia (probably jacked up the spelling), anyways, Richard had done a report on Cuchia about mob related business he was conducting in New Orleans. They were both in and out of the dealership with in a few days of each other a few times that month. Richie turned out to be a real mobster from New York who cut a deal with the Feds to come down here and help run a sting on some NOLA mob people. The Feds had to relocate Cuchia out of state. A few months later Richard located him in Miami and contacted him, for an interview to do a follow up story.

Are you able to check the spelling on that?
