I know my exact problem. They've tried to fix it twice. It requires the bigger maintenance trucks (not the little guy who shows up for appointments) but I can't book the big trucks. The little guy has to show up (didn't for my appointment last week) just to see that the hub doesn't have enough power and that he has to call in the big trucks.
Its maddening.
Can't wait for ATT fiber, but I'm told they aren't in a rush and may not ever do my neighborhood.

As a contractor, they can’t get bucket truck to come out for Cox. The best company to work for is Comcast as I can get approval for a bucket truck to come within 30 minutes.

You will not get your cable fixed today. They will just lazy arse thru the call and drive off.

AT&T is supposed to come fix mine in the morning. I hope they don't send the same useless tech they sent the last time who came to "fix" our internet and left with about 10 houses near us without it.

So repairman from cox in a cox van arrives about 4:20 and comes in and checks the remote and main box then goes outside and checks the line coming from the pole. As he is checking the line outside, a crowd of neighbors with pitchforks and torches come down the street towards him and want to know when in the frick their cox internet, cable and phone service will come back on.
I left and went back inside.
