I just saw two healthy lookong people together wearing masks earlier. I used to say a couple of years ago coming out of covid that I wasn't judging too harshly out in public because you never know when someone is fighting cancer, etc. But now there's just no point to be wearing a mask, and there were two of them together so they were obviously just idiots.

My favorite were people driving down the road in their car alone wearing a mask. Who was there to contaminate and was covid coming through the a/c vents? Rediculous.

The worst part was having to show a vaccine card to get into Tiger Stadium

We had a few cards at our tailgate ans we would share the card to get our wrist band

Unfortunately, if it happened today many people would still participate in the charade. I still see people wearing masks every day.

Wait till you think about half the populace taking an experimental clot shot to prevent a head cold in exchange for a free donut or a happy meal.

I have no regrets about getting the shot and it wasn't for a free donut. My wife is on immune suppressants and my mom had cancer at the time. Hindsight is 20/20 but under the same circumstances I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Same.

I dont think people should've been forced to take it, but shot itself is no big deal, and has actually shown to have some longterm heslrh benefits.

The shot drama queens on here are pretty ride.

but I remember we couldn’t eat in restaurants. If they had a patio outside that was fine, but not inside.

Right. So many restaurants built tents in their parking lots and served people in them bc it was technically “outside”. Insanely

The whole face covering nonsense was the most ridiculous part to me.

I kinda enjoyed it. I enjoyed the time with my family and the unknown "what's going to happen next" aspect of it. Hated masks tho.

I guess I'm weird.

The funny part is that it’s against the law to wear a mask in public in Louisiana.

There is an exemption for Halloween BTW.

It was never an actual lockdown. Can’t get your haircut or go to church, but Walmart or the Grocery store is fine.

Same. Wife and I both got to work from home, and our 2 kids were home as well. Lots of good family time was spent.

We also came out of it financially better due to some of the circumstances, sold rental house, sold main house, bought land.

It worked out for us, but absolutely see how it didn't for others.

My wife is the only one who took any of the shots, her job started forcing her, took one dose. Rest of us avoided it. The shitty part was watching my daughters first year in kindergarten in a mask. Awful.

98% of the posters here were for them at the start. But they pretend otherwise.

No need.

I've always made my own, informed decisions and have done well, especially regarding medicsl issues.

FB, messsge boards, and your mailman's cousin's brothe-in-law probably aren't the best "expert"

Nor is the federal government.

Yeah some parts were fun. When it was "two weeks to stop the spread" I stayed with a buddy so I wasn't around my GF (wife now) who was working from home. We had a blast cooking, fishing, etc. Ended up building a boat with my dad and did more fishing/hunting than I ever had before.
