Agreed. Walked out of my back door at 630 to my bow stand. Awesome morning to be in the woods.

Had two does and a fawn in my suburban Birmingham back yard this morning. My stupid dog ran them off.

Where? I love using my detector but sadly I have no more good spots left as all my family property over civil war battle fields in Donaldsonville has now been sold.

When I run into some city or suburban dwelling asswipe bragging about where they live I always ask them if they can legally go in their back yard and take a piss, shoot a gun, and build a bonfire. Shuts them up pretty quick.

Nature is so good you should go build a house in the middle of it and take a little piece out each time someone builds one. Oh wait...

It’s nice to be able to sit on the deck in the evening under the glow of the lanterns and enjoy a couple of bourbons.

Can still hear the occasional dove.

I've got a little 33 acre piece of property in rural north Louisiana, once I get my kid out of high school and on with life I would love to build on it and retire in the country.

It's where my grandparents lived, we all moved away for jobs/a better life/school/etc, now everyone wants to move back

Sounds like the kind of place that makes the taste of scrambled eggs even better when eaten outside in the early morning...

Enjoy!

I enjoy my farm in SE Oklahoma. I can't see another house or building that isn't mine in any direction. White oaks and pecan trees and wildlife all over.

And yes, I may piss in a toilet maybe 10% of the time.
